We have worked with Colibri for a number of years and have always been pleased with the standard of service received. With thousands of customer details, booking information and data stored across our Head Office and five villages, we must ensure that they are kept very secure. To fulfil this requirement, combat our increasing storage costs, bring our backup up-to-date and ensure infrastructure uptime, we had no hesitation in turning to Colibri. They recommended and implemented a solution that would meet our needs not only now, but also as we expand in the future.

Advanced backup solutions

After reviewing the existing backup setup, Colibri recommended an advanced solution designed to handle large datasets and reduce Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) compared to traditional cloud-only backups.

Centre Parcs data is now encrypted to FIPS standards, certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST), ensuring that all information remains protected. To simplify recovery, backups are also replicated to the cloud for easy access to files, folders, and full machines.

Colibri delivers 24/7 end-to-end management. This includes continuous monitoring and proactive maintenance to keep systems running smoothly. Watchpoints (scheduled preventive checks) help detect and address potential issues early, minimising any risk of downtime. With Colibri's expert support and robust solutions in place, Center Parcs benefits from a secure, high-performing, and cost-efficient IT environment.

Removing the burden of infrastructure management

Center Parcs now benefits from a secure, reliable backup solution capable of rapid data recovery when needed. With a fixed monthly pricing model, storage costs are also predictable and transparent.

To ensure the solution met expectations, Colibri conducted restore tests before project completion, confirming that backups aligned with Center Parcs’ requirements.

By leveraging Colibri’s expertise, the burden of day-to-day infrastructure management has been lifted. This not only reduces operational costs but also allows the internal IT team to focus on strategic, customer-facing initiatives.

Following the project’s success, the solution is now being extended to staff across all Center Parcs villages.
